Legal Services

Free Immigration services through the Higher Education Immigration Legal Services Program. This program provides a wide range of free immigration legal services to undocumented and mixed status students, faculty and staff on California community college campuses.

The Higher Education Legal Services Project provides FREE immigration legal services to California Community Colleges students, faculty, and staff. This California-funded effort connects trusted legal service providers with individuals in need to assess their unique case and plan for their future. Priority for services is given to students, staff, faculty, dual-enrolled students, noncredit course students, and adult education students.

How to schedule an appointment

Appointments are available through zoom, phone call, or in-person. In-person appointments at College of San Mateo are only available on Tuesdays.

How to make an appointment

  1. Head over to findyourally.com
  2. Search for "College of San Mateo" - make a selection for in-person or virtual 
  3. Select a day and time that works best for you 
  4. Fill out the required information. Please indicate if you need language support, and if so what language (English and Spanish available.)
