Academics
The CSM Umoja Community offers a full-year (fall and spring) learning community with coursework in Ethnic Studies, English, and Counseling. These “Umoja-fied” courses uplift and celebrate African and African American history, cultures, and peoples, and the Umoja professors often collaborate to intricately link the learning experiences in all the courses. The CSM Umoja learning community is a great way to meet fellow students with similar interests and values and to learn about African and African American history and culture in a safe, academically rigorous learning environment!
