Lyft Rides for CSM Students

Overview

College of San Mateo offers current CSM students one free roundtrip ride per day to/from CSM. This program is intended to help address transportation needs by providing on-demand rides for CSM students. The program is made possible through a partnership between CSM and the Lyft ridesharing app.

Getting Started

  1. If you're not a current student, Apply to CSM.
  2. Fill out the registration form including the liability waiver.
  3. CSM will validate your home address and student status.
  4. Once approved, you will receive an email invitation from Lyft Business.
  5. Follow the steps in the email to sign up. Once you click the link and join, the complimentary Lyft Ride allotments will apply to eligible rides during your time as a CSM student.
  6. Don't yet have a Lyft account? Download the app and create an account to get started.
