Registration Dates & Times

You must have an assigned appointment date to register - register online on WebSMART. 
You can register starting at 7 am on the day of your assigned appointment.

New and Continuing Students Priority Registration


Students who attended the Spring 2019, Fall 2018, or Summer 2018 terms are considered continuing students. Students who have an up-to-date Student Education Plan on file by noon on Friday, April 26 will be sent a WebSMART registration appointment email and/or text message on the evening of April 28 which includes their registration appointment date. Students may register using WebSMART on or after their appointment date.

Priority Registration for Summer/Fall Dates: May 1, 2019 - May 8, 2019

All Students


All new and former (have not attended any of the last three terms) students must Apply for Admission online. After being admitted, and completing matriculation requirements, if applicable, new and former students may register using WebSMART.

Registration Dates for All Summer/Fall students without current Student Education Plan by 4/26 noon cutoff date:
May 9, 2019 - to day before term begins

High School Concurrent Enrollment Students with current Course Request Form on file: May 14, 2019

Late Registration



To add a class, attend the first class meeting to obtain the instructor's approval. (For online-only classes, you may contact the instructor via email)

If space is available, the instructor will give you a four-digit authorization code to enter when you register. You must complete the registration process through WebSMART during the late registration period (see Important Dates).

If a class has reached its maximum enrollment limit, you may be able to choose to add your name to the waitlist. If space becomes available for you to add a class, you will be notified through your my.smccd.edu email account. You will have 24 hours to respond. All college electronic communications will go to your my.smccd.edu email address. Log into your WebSMART student account to find your email address and password.
