Registration Dates & Times

You must have an assigned appointment date to register - register online on WebSMART. 
You can register starting at 7 am on the day of your assigned appointment.

New and Continuing Students Priority Registration

Students who attended Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024 terms are considered continuing students. Students who have an up-to-date Student Education Plan on file by noon on Friday, April 26 (for Fall) or Friday, October 25 (for Spring) or will be sent a WebSMART registration appointment email and/or text message which includes their registration appointment date. Students may register using WebSMART on or after 7 am on their appointment date.

Priority Registration for Fall 2024: May 1, 2024
Priority Registration for Spring 2025: October 30, 2024

All Students

All new and former (have not attended any of the last three terms) students must Apply for Admission online. After being admitted, and completing matriculation requirements, if applicable, new and former students may register using WebSMART.

Registration Dates for All Fall students without current Student Education Plan by the April 26 noon cutoff date:
May 15, 2024 - the day before term begins

Registration Dates for All Spring students without current Student Education Plan by the October 25 noon cutoff date:
November 13, 2024 - the day before term begins

High School Concurrent Enrollment Students with current Course Request Form on file:
Fall: May 14, 2024 - the day before term begins
Spring: November 12, 2024 - the day before term begins

Late Registration

To add a class, attend the first class meeting to obtain the instructor's approval. (For online-only classes, you may contact the instructor via email)

If space is available, the instructor will give you a four-digit authorization code to enter when you register. You must complete the registration process through WebSMART during the late registration period (see Important Dates).

If a class has reached its maximum enrollment limit, you may be able to choose to add your name to the waitlist. If space becomes available for you to add a class, you will be notified through your my.smccd.edu email account. You will have 24 hours to respond.
