Registration Dates & Times

You must have an assigned appointment date to register - register online on WebSMART. 
You can register starting at 7 am on the day of your assigned appointment.

New and Continuing Students Priority Registration

Students who attended Summer 2021, Fall 2021, or Spring 2022 terms are considered continuing students. Students who have an up-to-date Student Education Plan on file by noon on Thursday, April 7 (For Summer 2022) or noon on April 29 (For Fall 2022) will be sent a WebSMART registration appointment email and/or text message which includes their registration appointment date. Students may register using WebSMART on or after 7 am on their appointment date.

Priority Registration for Summer 2022: April 12, 2022
Priority Registration for Fall 2022: May 4, 2022


All Students

All new and former (have not attended any of the last three terms) students must Apply for Admission online. After being admitted, and completing matriculation requirements, if applicable, new and former students may register using WebSMART.

Registration Dates for All Summer students without current Student Education Plan by the April 7 noon cutoff date:
April 19, 2022 - the day before term begins

Registration Dates for All Fall students without current Student Education Plan by the April 29 noon cutoff date:
May 18, 2022 - the day before term begins

High School Concurrent Enrollment Students with current Course Request Form on file:
Summer: April 18, 2022 - the day before term begins

Fall: May 17, 2022 - the day before term begins

Late Registration

To add a class, attend the first class meeting to obtain the instructor's approval. (For online-only classes, you may contact the instructor via email)

If space is available, the instructor will give you a four-digit authorization code to enter when you register. You must complete the registration process through WebSMART during the late registration period (see Important Dates).

If a class has reached its maximum enrollment limit, you may be able to choose to add your name to the waitlist. If space becomes available for you to add a class, you will be notified through your my.smccd.edu email account. You will have 24 hours to respond.
