  • Former Woodside star Brad Degnan adjusts to college ball through solid year at CSM

    Degnan, who posted a .303 batting average along with a .434 slugging percentage in his first year as a Bulldog, made a good impression on longtime CSM manager Doug Williams. “He’s a real competitor and has a drive to really want to do well,” Williams said.

  • Palu’s path taking him to play football at Cal

    After two years at College of San Mateo, Palu hasn’t grown any taller, but a position change — from guard to center — along with a strong performance in the classroom has led Palu to orally commit to play football at the University of California this upcoming season.

  • $3 million awarded for CSM’s “Internet of Energy” Project

    Geli, SMCCCD, and ProspectSV have been awarded a grant from the California Energy Commission to partner with CSM for the “Internet of Energy” demonstration project. The project will deploy two integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems that are expected to save the college $150,000 annually.

  • Jazz on the Hill coming this weekend

    A concert stage is being constructed on a grassy hill at CSM in preparation for the annual Jazz on the Hill event Saturday, June 6. The free event is a day for people to relax and enjoy the campus with music, wine and beer, food truck offerings and art and crafts tables.
