Healthy Eats, Active Feet

Healthy Eats, Active Feed is an Innovative Health and Nutrition Program funded by Sequoia Healthcare District’s Healthy Schools Initiative.

Program Objectives
  • Ensuring children have access to 3 nutritious meals per day including fresh foods low in fat, salt and sugar
  • Engaging children in daily physical activity through a new movement education program
  • Providing parents w/ education on promoting healthy eating habits in young children, planning healthy meals on a budget, engaging their families in regular physical activities and accessing community resources to meet families health/nutrition needs
