Learning Center

Overview

Important Notice:

The Learning Center will be closed to students and the public until further notice. Updated information about the college response to Covid-19 outbreak can be found at emergency.smccd.info

Online tutoring is currently available through our LCTR 698 Canvas shell. We have now set up the LCTR 698 course so that you can add it without an Add code or instructor permission. You only need to sign into WebSMART and enroll in LCTR 698, CRN 93480. That will give you access to the Canvas shell which holds the schedules and zoom links for tutors. The course is zero units and there are no fees, it is just a way for us to keep track of how many students have asked for tutoring and give access to the Canvas shell. If you have any trouble registering in the course or have questions about Learning Center services please email us at csmlc@smccd.edu and we will assist you.

Welcome to the Learning Center at College of San Mateo! Here at the LC, we believe that all students want to be successful as they pursue their academic and career goals. The Learning Center works in partnership with faculty and staff across the CSM campus to support the academic development of all students in our campus community.

In order to support student achievement and development, the Learning Center offers many free programs and services including peer tutoring in a variety of subjects, up-to-date technology, mentoring, workshops, group study rooms, a computer center, and a friendly, comfortable place to study. We strive to provide a space that is academic, professional, inclusive, and safe.

The Learning Center is more than a place where students can work on assignments, it is a hub to connect you to resources on campus so that you can reach your goals.

Please visit the Learning Center for more detailed information about our services.

Let us know if we are meeting your needs (survey).

Your success is our success!
