Join us on Friday, November 13, for The Next First: President’s Innovation Brunch 2026, a fundraising event benefiting the President’s Innovation Fund at College of San Mateo.
This special morning will bring together community members, campus leaders, alumni, donors, business and civic partners, nonprofit leaders, and friends of the College for brunch, storytelling, and a closer look at the student-centered innovation taking place at CSM.
The theme, The Next First, speaks to the moments that can change what is possible for our students: a first class, first mentor, first scholarship, first internship, first transfer pathway, or first moment of true belonging. Through the President’s Innovation Fund, donor support helps move promising ideas from concept to action and creates new opportunities for students and the community we serve.
Reserve your seat, sponsor the event, or make a gift in support of the President’s Innovation Fund. SMCCCD employees may also sponsor student guests who would like to attend the event.

The President’s Innovation Fund supports creative, forward-looking efforts that strengthen the student experience at College of San Mateo. By investing in promising ideas, the fund helps expand opportunity, support innovation, and advance student success. If you would like to make an additional contribution, you may support the CSM President’s Innovation Fund with a gift of any amount.
About the President’s Advocacy Council
The President’s Advocacy Council serves as a group of champions for equity, community partnership, and student success at College of San Mateo. Council members support the college through advocacy, relationship-building, strategic advising, and resource development.
