New Courses for Spring 2008 Semester

Whether by tracking job market trends, taking student suggestions or seizing an opportunity to bring another innovative program into the curriculum mix, College of San Mateo strives to offer new, relevant classes every semester to supplement its solid traditional menu—and this semester is no exception. Here are the titles of just some of the new classes: Stars and Galaxies;  Internet Programming: Ruby; Advanced Film Study: Film Noir; Digital Publishing; Sympathy Floral Design; Current Trends and Issues in Psychological Rehabilitation; Multimedia Careers; and Masterworks Chorale: Royal Shakespeare Music.

From art to zoology and a whole lot in between, CSM has a 112-page schedule filled with a variety of day and evening classes awaiting new, former, continuing or re-entry students. The classes are short or semester-long, traditional, online or televised.

CSM's spring 2008 semester starts January 22. For students’ convenience, open classes are posted at https://websmart.smccd.edu/schedule/csm_open_200803.pdf.
