Thank you for participating in April 16 Flex Day! Please submit feedback on each session you attended, as well as feedback on the day as a whole.  Access slides and video recordings on our Flex Day Archive.

Flex Days provide an opportunity for faculty, staff, and administrators to come together for focused professional development activities. Sessions can address all-campus/all-district issues as well as focus on more specific training.  The All-Campus Professional Development Committee plans Flex Day, in collaboration with the President's Office and other campus partners.  For more information, see our Frequently Asked Questions.

Our theme for 2026-2027 is Preparing for the Future Now: Cultivating Accessible Pathways for Student Success.

In alignment with our college’s goals and the California Community College Vision 2030 framework, this theme focuses on our continued commitment and work to close equity gaps, dismantle systemic barriers, and provide quality education so that all students have a clear and accessible path towards success as they define it for themselves. With this Flex Day theme for the upcoming academic year, we look towards professional learning that addresses the current challenges facing students around economic and social mobility, changing workforce needs, the increased presence of AI, and changes in accessibility requirements, while thinking about our role in shaping the future both at CSM and for our students.
