Thank you for participating in April 16 Flex Day! Please submit feedback on each session you attended, as well as feedback on the day as a whole. Access slides and video recordings on our Flex Day Archive.
Flex Days provide an opportunity for faculty, staff, and administrators to come together for focused professional development activities. Sessions can address all-campus/all-district issues as well as focus on more specific training. The All-Campus Professional Development Committee plans Flex Day, in collaboration with the President's Office and other campus partners.
Contribute to CSM Flex Day
Our theme for 2025-2026 is "Building a Culture of Assessment.” We have encouraged session submissions that relate to assessment broadly defined, and especially through a lens of equity. How do we measure progress in supporting our disproportionately impacted students across instruction, services, and operations? How can assessment practices drive meaningful improvements in our work—whether in the classroom, student services, or institutional processes? How do we collectively define and recognize impact and success? Our theme for 2026-2027 will be shared here soon. In the meantime, we welcome session proposals and speaker or topic suggestions.

You don’t need to wait for our proposal request. Feel free to submit a session proposal or speaker/topic suggestion for any of our upcoming Flex Days! Though we cannot accommodate all requests, we will take them into careful consideration.
