Accommodation Process
Step 2: Documentation Review by DSP&S
Students are responsible for providing documentation of their disabilities to DSP&S. Sometimes they bring it with them to the intake appointment, but more often DSP&S sends a signed consent form to the diagnosing and/or treating professionals. Once DSP&S has the documentation, it is reviewed by a qualified staff member to determine whether it supports the accommodation requests. Students are considered eligible at this point for the requested services that are supported by documentation. Accommodations are arranged and set in place.
