Police Academy

College of San Mateo hosts the Basic Police Academy twice a year. This is primarily training for the new hires in San Mateo County and other local law enforcement agencies; however there are sometimes spaces available for self-sponsored individuals who wish to acquire their Basic Certificate on their own.

The Police Academy meets Monday-Friday (eight hours/day, five days/week) for 22 weeks.
