Meet the Faculty

Many of our instructional staff are still active in the law enforcement community. This is especially true of our POST training program. This includes all ranks in law enforcement, from officers to retired chiefs, from attorneys to judges. This is how we are able to bring the most up-to-date information and techniques to the Administration of Justice student.

Our core instructional staff teaches mainly during the day, and is comprised of retired police officers:

Thomas Chase, Adjunct Faculty (Retired Commander, Burlingame Police Department )
Subjects taught: Intro to the Criminal Justice System; Intro to Criminal Law; Community Relations
Degrees: Criminology with a minor in Psychology, San Francisco State
Teaching experience: Since 1987
Hobbies: Travelling to the northern California mountains, acting as Course Marshal at Crystal Springs Golf Course

William Curley, Adjunct Faculty
(Retired Lieutenant, San Mateo Police Department)
Subjects taught: Principles and Procedures of the Justice System; Criminal Investigation; Police Report Writing
Degrees: A.A., College of San Mateo, San Mateo; B.A., Golden Gate University, San Francisco
Teaching experience: Since 1996
Hobbies: Spending time with my wife and family; travel; restoring cars

Peter Nannarone, Adjunct Faculty (Retired Commander, San Carlos Police Department)

Hobbies: Spending time with his wife and family, traveling, photography and the San Francisco Giants
