Credit by Examination

The following lists the different exams that can be used to obtain college credit.

• Advanced Placement Test (AP)
• College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
• International Baccalaureate Examination (IB)
• Credit by Examination for College of San Mateo Courses (CBE)

Credit earned through credit by examination may not be used for meeting unit load requirements for enrollment status, or for programs such as financial aid, athletic eligibility, veterans' benefits, or for graduation residency requirements.
