Academics

Katipunan Learning Community offers year long courses that are rooted in the FIlipino/a/x experience. We understand that weaving Filipino/a/x culture and history into our courses creates a more enriching learning environment and a stronger connection to college. Through our English and Counseling courses, we teach culturally relevant and sustaining curriculum and create a second home on campus for our students. 

Fall Courses

• COUN 240: College and Academic Success (3 units)
• ENGL 105 (now called ENGL C1000E): Academic Reading and Writing with Support (5 units)

Spring Courses 

• ENGL 110: Composition, Literature, and Critical Thinking (3 units)
• COUN 114: Transfer Essentials I (1 unit)
