How to Get Started on Handshake

Once your account is activated, you will be prompted to search for or create a company profile.
For on-campus hiring, it is required to associate your profile with “College of San Mateo On-Campus Student Jobs” so your positions are visible to CSM students. This ensures your postings reach the correct audience within CSM Handshake.
If you received an invitation link, this step may already be completed and can be skipped.
After creating or joining the profile:

Customize your profile with key information about your department, job environment, and values to help students understand what makes your on-campus roles meaningful.
