Jorge Andres "Andy" Gomez
Title: Counselor, Promise Scholars Program; Coordinator, Brothers Empowering Brothers
Responsibilities:Provides academic, career, and personal counseling to help students define and achieve
their educational and life goals. As the Coordinator of Brothers Empowering Brothers (BEB), he is dedicated to empowering men of color to build community, discover purpose,
and reach their fullest potential. He is passionate about mentorship, leadership development,
and creating spaces where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to thrive both
inside and outside the classroom. Andy also enjoys teaching and plans to continue
offering courses that help students explore their identity, purpose, and growth in
the future.

Other Interests: I enjoy being active; whether that’s playing soccer, running, or spending time outdoors.
