Police Academy

College of San Mateo is one of three Basic Police Academy locations for our regional presenter, South Bay Regional Training Center.

This is an intensive, standard format presentation of the Regular Basic Course, primarily for new hires in San Mateo County and other local law enforcement agencies.  However, there are sometimes spaces available for self-sponsored individuals who wish to acquire a Basic Certificate on their own.

The Police Academy meets Monday-Friday (eight hours/day, five days/week) for 20+ weeks.
