Puente at CSM
CSM Puente Class Structure, Phase 1, 2 and 3
Participants in the Puente Project make a one-year commitment to a linked English and counseling class with overlapping themes, discussions, and assignments centered around Latino literature and experiences in a collaborative teamwork atmosphere. Students are required to enroll in English and career courses concurrently each semester and to participate in off‑campus Puente fieldtrips and activities. The Puente Project is structured in three phases:
