Below are several other OmniUpdate icons in the Pages views that you are likely to use.

Check-in. When the light bulb is on it indicates that the file is checked out to you. Click on the icon to check the file back in. A page will also be checked-in when you publish it. | |
Check-out. When the light bulb is off it indicates that the file is not checked out. Click on the bulb to check out the file. Pages are also checked out whenever you edit them. | ||
Preview page. Click on this icon to preview the page in your browser. | ||
File is checked out. This icon indicates that the file is checked out by another user, and therefore cannot be edited. Contact the CSM webmaster if you need to edit a page that is marked as checked out. | ||
Delete file. Clicking on this icon will delete the file from both the staging and production servers. | ||
Check links. This tool checks all the hyperlinks in the page to ensure that they are valid. | ||
Publish. Publish the page to the production server, making it live for all users. | ||
Rename. This will rename a file on both staging and production servers. |
Note: There are also several buttons that are not very useful for our purposes at CSM, and are best ignored. These include the Reminder, Access, and Props (short for "properties") buttons. Making changes using buttons not described above can have unintended consequences to your site.
