MANA x Tonga Research Conference 2025: Luluʻi ʻo e Fonua

CSM Mana hosts its first international + climate justice research conference will be held in San Mateo County — home to one of the largest Tongan communities in the continental U.S. Together, we will explore how our stories, scholarship, and solidarity move across lands, oceans, and generations.

This year’s theme, “Lulu‘i ‘o e Fonua (Shake the Land): Navigating Anga Fakafonua through Pacific Studies, Climate Justice, and Research,” celebrates Tongan brilliance and global research connections while positioning Oceania at the center of climate justice, cultural sustainability, and education.
