The mission of Career Services is to help students develop career awareness, explore major and career options, and outline career pathways.

Students can meet with a career counselor to refine their interests and goal and design a plan that links classroom learning and workplace experiences.

Spotlight: Summer 2025 Internships 

Genentech
Genentech is offering summer internships for students in community colleges. Internships range from public affairs to manufacturing internships.

Internships are open to students in many majors including but not limited to the following: Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Health, Philanthropic Studies, Media Studies, Public Adminstration, Political Science, Economics and more.

The CSM departments and centers listed in the On-Campus Employment Resource Guide for Students 2024-2025 often hire student assistants.
