Career Services

"CSM JobLinks" Click here to register.
College of San Mateo JobLinks is a free web-based job posting system that allows you to post job/internship openings, search resumes, and stay informed about career events at no cost. Individuals and families may also post positions for such jobs as family child care needed, etc. (Employer name would be the name of the family.)  Besides learning about future career events, you'll also be able to register online for our Spring "Get Linked Job Fair" and Autumn "Job Fair". It only takes a minute or two to register. Once you have completed the one-time registration, you will be able to post job openings at any time.   During the summer, we have limited staff and therefore will be checking job listings for approval twice a week.

On-Campus Recruitment
Having difficulty filling your jobs? Reserve a date and table now to meet and recruit our students. Employer tables are located in a well-trafficked area on campus. For further information and to reserve a table, please contact us at (650) 574-6116 or During the summer, we have limited staff and therefore will be checking this email account twice a week.

Posting Job Flyers on Campus
On campus, there are two locations with public/free speech bulletin boards:
  1. On the east (quad) side of Building 15…this is the location between Buildings 14 and 16.
  2. On the north side of Building 1 near DaVinci Lot 3 at the bottom of the stairs leading to Building 14. You can view rules for posting flyers on our Campus Posting page.
Become a Mentor: Sponsor an Intern
Many companies have learned the value of hiring a CSM intern. Students who simultaneously take classes while working in their field of study, not only enhance their academic learning, but also contribute to the growth of their company. Whether you’re considering a year-round or summer intern, the long-term benefits to you in reduced recruiting costs, increased retention rates, and accessing a stream of quality workers are enormous. We do require that for-profit businesses pay students for their work (or sign the Fair Labor Standards Act form to avoid possible fines).  To post an internship position, please register with CSM JobLinks, or if you have questions, email Eileen O'Brien at

Employer Participation Policy
CSM is committed to developing positive partnerships with employers. We encourage you to refer to our “Job Fairs” page to learn more about how to get involved in campus activities. We make every effort to accommodate an employer’s request to participate in our campus events.
