Project Change Orientation

Program information, expectations, and next steps.

Enrollment

The following needs to be completed:
  • Enroll in Priority Enrollment Program (PEP)
  • Complete assessment for course placement
  • Attend college orientation
  • Meet with a college counselor

Registration

Work with Project Change staff to register for one to two classes for the first semester. Example: Classes include PSYC 100; COMM 110; ETHN 101, SOCI 100; LCTR 105.

Financial Aid

Attend a Financial Aid workshop, or work with Project Change staff, and/or mentor, to apply.
Attend the weekly meetings for summer session. Begin the semester with one to two pre-selected courses by Project Change.

Project Change Meetings

Attend the weekly meetings for fall semester.

Counseling

Requirement to meet with academic counselor twice a semester, as well as with the retention specialist.

Mentor

Plan to meet/be in contact with mentor on a weekly basis.
Begin the semester with one to two pre-selected courses by Project Change.
