At College of San Mateo, the Strategic Partnerships and Workforce Development (SPWD) Division connects what happens in the classroom to what students need to succeed in the workplace. We open doors to economic mobility by giving students the skills, guidance, and real-world opportunities that lead to stable, well-paying careers.

By building lasting partnerships and managing federal and state funding with care, we advance workforce development that is equitable by design, helping individuals move forward while strengthening the community we serve.
