Planning, Research, Innovation and Effectiveness (PRIE)

Overview

The Office of Planning, Research, Innovation and Effectiveness (PRIE) at College of San Mateo provides leadership in institutional planning and in research that supports evidence-based decision making for the college. PRIE is housed within the Office of the President and is headed by the Dean of PRIE.

PRIE’s mission is to use the tools of research to support the college’s institutional decision-making and planning. As such, we produce the institutional data of record for the college.

PRIE's work is driven by the college's institutional priorities, which are established through the participatory governance process and documented in its plans, with a particular emphasis on the Educational Master Plan.

PRIE staff also provide research and data support to the college’s committees, initiatives, and program review and assessment processes.
