Learn how to improve your images taken with any camera.

Using the cameras in your phone or tablet, you will learn practical tools for making better images. In this class, we will be studying basic design principles to learn how to better compose images. Beyond composition, you will learn how to evaluate and manipulate lighting conditions to generate your best possible images. Lastly, we will be taking a deep dive into ways to control your camera settings in you phone or tablet so that you can take advantage of some of the techniques utilized by professional cameras.

Learn how to document your work.

Students will be given practical solutions to taking better portraits, still lives of products and architectural photographs. Whether you are documenting an architectural model or a new hairstyle, this class can offer practical tips for making more professional images of your work.

This class is composed of a series of fun, creative shooting assignments.

The majority of class work is hands on assignments where you will get to experiment and put what you learned into practice.

Make your best images into a book.

The final assignment for this class will be a self published book of images taken during the course.
