Leila Sadr UC Santa Cruz, Economics I absolutely loved my experience in College of San Mateo. When I stepped onto the college campus to sign up for classes I fell in love with the environment and instantly knew that I belonged here. I made a lot of friends from all over the world — from Nepal to Russia and Lebanon — I met so many people and learned so much from them. I can say with certainty that studying in this environment immensely impacted my academic performance. I took advantage of a lot of the services that CSM offered to students including transfer services, workshops, and counseling services. I made appointments with counselors and joined the Transfer Club to meet other transferring students and learn more about the transfer process. I can honestly say that if I could get my bachelors degree at CSM I would have. I am transferring to UC Santa Cruz as an economics major.
