College of San Mateo offers our students a concurrent program with the San Francisco State University Nursing Program. All students accepted to the CSM program are eligible to receive the ADN degree and become candidates to take the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) examination upon graduation. Most of our students complete their BSN degree with SFSU six months after graduating from CSM. We make it possible for our students to become the RN with a BSN in 2 1/2 years.
Our graduates are licensed, equipped with excellent time-management skills, and ready for their careers in the healthcare industry. They are from the community they serve and are eager to work at Bay Area hospitals and health centers.
