Upcoming Summer & Fall Registration Dates
Priority registration for Summer 2025 begins April 8 and for Fall 2025 on April 30. To qualify for priority registration for Fall 2025, you must have an updated Student Education Plan (SEP) on file by noon on April 25. To create or update your SEP, please schedule an Academic Counseling Appointment on the Student Success Link page
Students who meet this deadline will receive a registration appointment via email or text and can register through WebSMART starting at 7 am on their assigned date. If you miss the SEP deadline, registration opens later: April 15 for Summer 2025 and May 14 for Fall 2025. For more details and support, visit Admissions and Records' Registration Dates & Times page.
Last Day to Apply for a Degree or Certificate – April 11, 2025
The last day to apply for a degree or certificate this semester has been extended to April 11, 2025. Although meeting with an academic counselor is no longer required, we highly recommend doing so. Please schedule an Academic Counseling Appointment on the Student Success Link page for assistance.
President's Advocacy Council Dinner

Music Faculty Recital Series
Don’t miss CSM’s inaugural Music Faculty Recital Series, featuring two free concerts in the CSM Theatre (Building 3). Enjoy a Classical Recital on April 16 at 11 am, with performances ranging from solo Spanish guitar to a Mozart choir, and a Contemporary Recital on April 25 at 7 pm, highlighting electronic music and a jazz trio. Both events are open to the public and showcase the incredible talent of our music faculty.
36th Annual Presentation of Art & Science
The 36th Annual Presentation of Art & Science returns on Friday, April 18! You're invited to an engaging presentation by Professor Mohsen Janatpour as he explores the fascinating connections between art, science, and visual metaphors. Through an insightful discussion, this event will examine how these disciplines shape our understanding of the world.
Following the presentation, enjoy refreshments in the Theatre lobby and, weather permitting, stargazing with telescopes provided by the San Mateo County Astronomical Society and CSM’s Astronomy Department.
Earth Fest 2025
Join SMCCCD's Sustainability Team for Earth Fest 2025 on Tuesday, April 22, from 10 am to 2 pm in the College Center Building 10, Bayview Dining Room. Explore sustainability-themed exhibits, connect with community partners, swap clothes, and take home eco-friendly giveaways. Don’t miss the Museum of Tomorrow pop-up, showcasing the future of the green economy.

Access Free Health Services with Family PACT at CSM Wellness Center
Did you know you can get free birth control, STI testing, and reproductive health services right here on campus? Family PACT offers a wide range of services at no cost to eligible students through the CSM Wellness Center!
With Family PACT, you can access:
- Birth control options (pills, IUDs, implants, emergency contraception, and more)
- STI and UTI testing and treatment
- Free HIV testing
- Pregnancy testing and counseling
- Pap smears/cervical cancer screenings
- And more—all completely free!
How to Enroll:
- Self-enroll only by using the Family PACT Enrollment website before your appointment. It's fast and easy! View Flyer
- Visit the CSM Wellness Center, located in Building 5, Room 302. During your appointment, our team will guide you through the process.
Most students qualify if they:
- Live in California
- Have no insurance or limited coverage for family planning
- Need confidential care or are sexually active

Free SamTrans Bus Pass for Students
SMCCCD students can apply for a free Way2Go unlimited SamTrans bus pass, valid through July 31, 2025. Passes are first come, first served, and students must be enrolled in at least 1 unit in the District to apply. For questions, contact CSM SparkPoint.
Red Cards & District Undocumented Community Resources
Everyone in the U.S., regardless of immigration status, has certain rights and protections under the Constitution. Get your free Red Card from the Immigrant Legal Resource Center to learn how to assert your rights in various situations, including encounters with ICE.
You can pick up a free card at the Marketing & Community Relations Office (College Center Building 10, Room 462), the Multicultural Center (Building 18, Room 112), or the Undocumented Community Center (Building 18, Room 110).
