“Zoom with a Counselor” is designed to answer quick questions about your current schedule during the first weeks of classes to help you get started. The time with a counselor can range from 5-20 minutes and it is on a drop-in basis and for a limited amount of time, so depending on how many students are on the waitlist, we cannot guarantee that you will be seen.

Examples of questions that can be answered during this Zoom:

  • I already have an educational plan, but my course was canceled this semester, what else can I take?
  • I just registered for this course, but I am not sure if it transfers to the school I would like to attend?
  • I need help figuring out what classes are still available for this semester and which one should I take?
If you have transcripts that need to be evaluated, are in need of a student educational plan, completing a financial aid appeal, or need to complete college forms, then please contact the Counseling front desk (650) 574-6400.
When you log onto the zoom, you will be placed in a wait room. The message will say “Please wait for the host to let you into the meeting”, from time to time on that same screen the counselor will put a message in the chat. You will only be able to see the counselors messages in the chat if you are in the waiting room. If you log off, you may lose your place in line. If you are in the wait room and you are notified you cannot be seen today, please continue contacting the front desk to see if we have any new appointment availability.
