Aashish Jha, District student trustee: Jha is a second-year student at the College, having immigrated to the United States two years ago from Nepal. He calls CSM "the beautiful 'Harvard on the Hill.'" A molecular biology and law major, Jha hopes to someday attend Harvard or Yale University. He said that through his involvement in organizing student events, he has seen how they encourage school participation and bring the campus alive. "My sole purpose is to actively participate for the betterment of the District," he said. In his rare spare time, Jha attends some CSM and Canada College sporting events.
