Certificates - Dental Assisting
Upon successful completion of the CSM Dental Assisting Program and achievement of a Certificate in Dental Assisting, the student will be able to:1. legally sit for the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensing examination for the State of California.
2. legally sit for the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) licensing examination administered by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB).
3. demonstrate the ability to follow the continuing education (CE) procedures necessary to maintain current knowledge and remain updated in areas of dental assisting and dentistry in general.
4. demonstrate knowledge of existing California Laws regarding delegatable duties and Dental Ethics as they relate to dental assisting.
