Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness (PRIE)
Revised Institutional Statements, Spring 2015

CSM's Mission Statement must be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure the relevance of its planning and decision-making processes and meet accreditation mandates.

In 2014 College of San Mateo revised its Institutional Priorities which are part of the College’s Mission Statement.  Specifically, a new Institutional Priority has been added, “Support Professional Development,” and minor changes in the wording of the existing Institutional Priorities have been made. These changes were recommended and approved by the Institutional Planning Committee (IPC) on January 24, 2014 which is a participatory governance committee with representation from all constituents.

The IPC-approved Mission Statement will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees in Spring 2015.
