Physics 100 is a 3 unit course designed to satisfy the Physical Science General Education requirement for degrees and transfer to UC or CSU.
The Physics 126-128 sequence is part of the CalTeach Aurora Project and is designed for students interested in careers in K-12 Science Education.

Physics 150 is a course designed to help underprepared students develop skills needed for success and achievement in Physics 210 or Physics 250.
The Physics 210-220 sequence is designed for students majoring in some field of letters and science. It is required for students planning to enter Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry, Agriculture, or Forestry. Some programs require completion of Physics 210-211-220-221. Physics 210 and 211 are offered as day classes in both the Fall and Spring semesters. Physics 210 is also offered as an evening course in Fall semesters.
