Orientation is the third step of the enrollment process at College of San Mateo. Complete steps one and two before you start:
- Apply for admission to the College : Online Application for Admission
- Take the math and English or ESL (English as a Second Language) placement tests: Assessment/Testing Website
If you are transferring to College of San Mateo from another college or university and have completed English, ESL and mathematics classes, complete and print the Prerequisite Equivalency Form: Prerequisite Equivalency Form. Bring the form and copies of your transcripts to the Testing Center in Building 1, Room 130.

Read the material carefully and follow the links.All new and continuing students must attend an In-Person College Orientation and Course Selection Workshop.
