Masterworks Chorale
Masterworks Chorale is an auditioned chorus of 90 experienced singers: adult professionals with diverse backgrounds from all walks of life, college students and professional musicians. Artistic Director Dr. Bryan Baker provides outstanding musical leadership, and the chorale has grown and developed immensely under his direction in the last eight years
Masterworks Chorale is a partnership between CSM and the non-profit Masterworks Chorale Society, and has been a part of the CSM campus since it was founded in 1964 by Music Director Emeritus Galen Marshall.
Masterworks Chorale offers choral music/singing courses through College of San Mateo, but is also a long-standing semi-professional chorus, having toured Europe and the People's Republic of China, and making its debut at Carnegie Hall in 1989.
