Tutors Information

Potential tutors

Although we don't need any now, at the end of each semester, we usually hire a number of student tutors and math lab assistants for the Math Resource Center. Most tutors and assistants work 3 to 5 hours per week. Tutors need a recommendation from your most recent math instructor and have completed Math 252 or 242 with a 3.0 or better GPA in all math classes. Tutors and assistants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units through SMCCD. Please see Isabel Dillman if you are interested.

Faculty Information

If you are looking for a praticular faculty member to assist you, and wonder if they are working in the MRC, look at their electronic door card for the days and times of their assignments.
