Feedback from ARL Participants
"The first day I read to the children, I knew I wanted to come back. The joy in their faces when talking about the books gives me hope that they will grow up and learn to love reading. Perhaps maybe even reading these books would enhance their vocabulary and learn about different aspects to the book. Once after we had finished the book, one of the girls Ariana had taken the book and started looking through it as if she were reading it herself. Already we have sparked the love in reading to some of these children. I get more of a sense of fulfillment when I come to the children's center because it kind of makes me feel like I'm making a difference in our future."

Children's Books
Many children's book are available at CSM and other Peninsula Library System libraries. With the use of their library card, athletes can put books on hold and have them sent to CSM for pick up. The hold fee is waived when books are picked up at College of San Mateo Library.
