In special circumstances, College of San Mateo's Dean of Language Arts may approve limited use of other courses in the same language (such as those numbered 680 or taken at Skyline or Cañada College). In rare circumstances, the Dean may approve using a course in another discipline if its content is closely related to the language studied.
