New students applying to College of San Mateo

International Student Scholarship – Global Beca Foundation of San Mateo Colleges
There are a limited number of one-time scholarships for new international students ranging from $250 to $1000 each depending on availability of funds. To apply for the Global Beca Foundation International Student Scholarship, complete the Global Beca Foundation scholarship application. Then return the completed application and all relevant documents by fax or email to:

Awards are granted based on achievement and the potential for involvement in student leadership positions at the college.

Current International Students

College of San Mateo offers many scholarships with awards ranging from $100 to approximately $2,500. CSM awards more than $250,000 in scholarships every year in May. There is one application to complete but you will be eligible for many scholarships that can help you pay for books, tuition, transportation or other expenses. You must apply by the deadline in early February. The International Student Center can assist you with completing the scholarship application and provide you with a letter of recommendation. CORT ScholarshipThe International Student Center is proud to announce our new CORT Scholarship for International Students. The scholarship is sponsored by CORT and available to international students who are currently studying at College of San Mateo. CORT provides furniture rental packages and housing information for students living off-campus.  Most apartments in the U.S. are not furnished. CORT offers furniture rental, with additional packages for cookware, towels and linens, a TV, and more.
