Optional Practical Training workshop
Did you know that as an international student you can work for one year after you complete an Associate’s degree? Well you can! The program is called Optional Pracitical Training (OPT) and the International Student Center will be conducting a workshop on this program. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 11 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Building 10, Room 191. All international students are welcome to attend, regardless of when you’ll be completing your degree. This information is important to learn as you can also use OPT after earning your Bachelor’s degree.

College of San Mateo scholarships are open to all new and continuing international students, even if it is just your first semester at the college or if you have no GPA! Mario or Patty will be happy to write you a letter of recommendation for the scholarship!
