CSM and Second Harvest have partnered together to create a Food Pantry on campus! The Food Pantry is located in the Health Services Center in Public Safety/Medical Services Building 1, Room 147.
The Food Pantry is open Monday-Thursday, 9 am - 6 pm by appointment. Students and members of the public may make an appointment by calling the Health Center at (650) 574-6396.
Students and members of the public may use the pantry. An initial form is completed by the individual which includes a self-declaration of income level and household size. There is no proof of income or citizenship required. This form, which is required by Second Harvest, only needs to be completed once. Once done, a student/member of the public may visit the pantry on a weekly basis.
The pantry will have a variety of canned foods, dairy products, breads and cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables, and frozen meats and poultry. Individuals visiting the pantry will be able to receive a three-day supply of food based on the size of the family.
If you need further assistance with obtaining food, Jaime Rios from Second Harvest can help you access food from the numerous other programs available through Second Harvest (food stamps, Cal Fresh etc). Jaime is on campus on Mondays from 1-4 pm, and can be reached directly at (408) 693-0096.
