Completed in 2006, the Walter H. Moore Regional Public Safety Center (RPSC) is a joint use facility shared by College of San Mateo and the training program of the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium. The RPSC is the training facility for law enforcement agencies within San Mateo County and for Police Academy candidates. The Center includes two large classrooms for group training, a mat room for self-defense training, locker room and administrative offices. It is strategically located near the college’s athletic facilities which are used as part of the physical training curriculum.
