Monday 9 am - 6 pm
  • Distance Learning courses are recommended for students who work well independently and have solid study skills and self-discipline.
  • Distance Learning courses parallel courses taught in the classroom and are transferable to most four-year colleges and universities.
  • Distance Learning course are as effective as on-campus courses in terms of student learning.
  • Distance Learning students have the same status as students enrolled in on-campus classes.
  • Distance Learning classes require as much time and effort as on-campus classes. Advantages are working on your own schedule, and not having to travel to campus frequently.
  • Distance Learning courses consist of telecourses and online courses.
    • Telecourses are pre-produced television courses broadcast on KCSM-TV.
      Televised programs are also available for check-out or viewing in the CSM Library.
    • Online courses require students to have use of a computer with internet access and an individual email account.
