Distance Education courses are subject to the same general requirements of the California Education Code as traditional in-person courses. The same standards of course quality are applied to a course conducted through distance education as are applied to traditional classroom courses. Students may use distance education courses to satisfy many IGETC and CSU/UC transfer course requirements.  While distance education courses satisfy many transfer requirements, completion of transfer agreements and proper advisement may require students to meet with an academic adviser to review student education plans and verify GPA and major/general education requirements have been satisfied.  Please contact Transfer Services if you have any questions.
