The Employment Development Department (EDD) is now serving students on the CSM campus.
Location: College Center Building 10, Room 340
Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 9 am - 4 pm
Students can save themselves a trip to an EDD office by visiting an EDD representative at CSM.
Here are a few of the services the EDD offers to CSM students:
- Understanding how training programs affect unemployment benefits
- Working with CSM’s Career Services program by providing job search resources and services
- Labor market information – learn what occupations are growing, which pay the most, have the most openings,
and will be in demand - Special Veterans services – especially on Fridays
- Eligibility for special tax credits that can get you hired more quickly
- Disability Insurance Program information
