Pulse SmartPen

Record everything you hear, write and draw. Tap your notes to play back your recordings. Save and share interactive notes to your computer. This pen uses a special notebook that you can purchase at the CSM Bookstore, Target, and BestBuy. Online purchases are available as well. The Assistive Technology Center can lend you a pen to use during class then upload the notes and access the written notes and the recording of the lecture at home.

Kurzweil 3000

Kurzweil 3000 is software that reads text on the computer screen. The software reads text out loud and  also provides study tools that help can help you organize your notes from your textbook and lectures. This software and electronic text is available to qualified students in the Assistive Technology Center and in other locations on campus (Reading Center, Business lab, Writing lab, Library).
