The Assistive Technology Center provides computer access services for students with disabilities. Services include:
  • training classes in assistive technology software:
    • JAWS, screen reader,
    • Dragon NaturallySpeaking, voice recognition,
    • Zoomtext, text enlarging,
    • Kurzweil 3000 and 1000, scanning/text-to-speech software;
  • access to the Internet using assistive technology;
  • resources for accessible web design;
  • accessible workstations in campus computer labs;
  • alternate media services - course materials and textbooks in alternate formats such as Braille, e-text, or large print.
The ATC is a resource to the campus community for assistive technology training, accessible web design and alternate media services.
