How do I register for classes at College of San Mateo?
- Log on to the CSM website at collegeofsanmateo.edu and complete the admission application.
- Follow the matriculation steps.
- Go the WebSMART homepage and log on using your user ID (G or SS#) and your PIN (Personal Identification Number)/password which is your six digit birth date (062170).
The last day to pay fees is listed under the Important Dates section in the Schedule of Classes. You can pay online using WebSMART with a credit card. You can also pay at the Cashier's Office located in Building 10 (3rd Floor) or mail in your payment to the Cashier's Office, 1700 West Hillsdale Blvd, San Mateo 94402.
How can I get confirmation that I am enrolled at CSM?
Log into WebSMART and click on Student Services; then click on the Enrollment Verification link and follow the instructions. Be sure to print out your enrollment verification certificate.
Do I have to pay the student health fee if I have my own health insurance?
Yes, the student health fee is required of all students who register for on-campus classes (except if you register only for Saturday classes). The health fee provides basic health services to students. The health fee is not health insurance.

I dropped a class by the refund deadline, but I am still being charged the fees. How can I have those charges removed from my account?

I am trying to repeat a course for a second time (third attempt) but WebSMART doesn't allow me to register for the class. What do I need to do?
Submit a Grade Alleviation form requesting approval to repeat the course to Admissions and Records. The Dean of Counseling will respond to you in writing within 24-48 hours.
My WebSMART account is frozen, that is, it won't let me log on. What do I need to do?

When are final grades available?
Once a faculty member posts grades, they are available for viewing on your WebSMART account. Grades do not become "official" and are not posted on your transcript until a few weeks after classes end, however.
